Chris has been turning Koa wood and other Hawaiian woods for 30 years and in this time he has honed his skills so he can make just about anything on the lathe, he can turn bowls up to 4 feet 8 inches down to 1/4 inch in diameter. His imagination and attention to detail is reflected in His work which has been sold in fine galleries in Hawaii, North America and Europe, he also has his work in many private collections around the world. Just to name a few collectors who have his work are Keali'i Reichel, A. Lono Lyman and Alexander Brody.

Koa Wood Hawaii is a green and envrionmentaly friendly company. We use mostly fallen trees and trees from tree removal services or trees that are going to be bulldozed or cut down, and we also replant trees like Koa, Kou, Sandalwood and other endemic Hawaiian plants and trees because Hawaii is an Island and when the the Hawaiian eco system is gone it is gone so we must replant, also Hawaii has more rare and endangered trees than anywhere else in the United States. Koa Wood Hawaii is proud to be replanting a diverse Hawaiian Forest in Kau Hawaii, not only Koa but many other endemic Hawaiian trees and plants, this will be a model for other micro eco systems in Hawaii, we will then expand these micro ecosystems to form larger ones

Chris can make many different shapes and sizes of woodturnings everything from miniature dollhouse style bowls 1/4 inch in diameter to very large bowls up to 4 feet in diameter, he specialize in Hawaiian style calabash bowls and replica's of old Hawaiian bowls. Koa logs, we have a bandsaw mill and we can mill logs up to 28 inches in diameter, these logs are ready to be milled.
Koa Lumber for sale, we have thousands of board feet of Koa lumber in stock, email me with your needs. We also have Mango and Monkey Pod lumber.

Hawaiian Norflok Pine for sale. We have Norfolk Pine in stock almost all the time, let me know the size you want, the cost is very good, for example a 12" dia. x 5" round will cost $64.50 delivered. I ship these in a flat rate prioriy mial box.
Koa lumber for sale. We have both 4/4 and 8/4 in stock, no order is to big or to small. If you want 1 board I will sell you 1 board, if you want a pallet or a 40 foot container I can provide that too, just let me know what you need, call or email me.

This is my favorite mill, the woodmiser. This one is not as portable as our other mill.
