This is Chris harvesting seeds from a rare Hawaiian Mamani tree so we can replant Mamani. We collect many different seeds from many different Hawaiian trees for the purpose of growing and replanting them.

This picture shows some of the steps in making Hawaiian Calabash style bowls, the PICTURE IN THE LOWER LEFT shows slabs of wood that we just milled from logs. Then we draw circles and cut them out on the band saw, then we glue a waste block onto the round and the PICTURE ON THE LOWER RIGHT shows the rounds all glued up and the main picture shows the bowls rough cut and ready to be put on the shelf for 1 year to dry. Then after drying for a year the bowls will be finish cut and sanded and finished.
